Although quartz are highly durable , to make the most of your new worktops follow these easy tips on how to clean your worktops.

Since Quartz are non porous liquids and stains will not be absorbed so cleaning and maintaining it is made simpler. Using soap and a damp sponge will do the job! For any pesky stains that are not coming off we recommend using Pink Stuff to remove it.

Unlike Granite Quartz does not need any scheduled maintenance as it does not need sealing.

You should avoid using strong chemicals like bleach and polish or paint removers to clean your worktops.

Protect your worktops from heat like pressure cookers. Make sure to use trivets instead of placing the hot pans directly on the worktop. When chopping anything make sure to use a cutting board so you do not scratch it.

Wipe spills straight away to avoid any staining as the longer it stays the more risk it has to staining. Make sure you clean any dust and crumbs to avoid scratches.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINING GRANITE:

Granite needs to be re- sealed at least once a year to ensure a longer life for it.

Make sure to use a cleaner specifically targeted for granite. Use this at least once a week to wipe it.

Make sure you wipe Granite worktops daily to avoid stains. It can be wiped with a damp sponge. The longer you leave any spills the more likely it is to absorb it since granite is porous. So to make the most of your worktop and extend your use of it make sure to clean it every time you use it. Make sure what you clean your worktop with is soft so it does not damage your worktop

Use coasters and trivets and do not place hot pans directly onto the worktop.
