Cosmic Black Polished
Cosmic Black Polished is a black stone with beautiful streaks of white, gold and silver crystals which comes from Brazil. It consists of naturally occurring bands of quartz and mica, along with tiny brown-red garnets, which creates the effect of stellar clouds and stars, hence the “Cosmic†name.
This stone has veining and banding of colours which can vary considerably from one end of a slab to the other, thus giving rise to common variations like patches of crystals and small fissures.
Cosmic Black Polished can be considered as an alternative to say Star Galaxy or Absolute Black. It is a durable and hard wearing stone whose white streaks would seamlessly complement any light units, and it will create a striking effect in a large island countertop.
