Baltic Brown
Baltic Brown is a rich chocolate brown coloured stone which is mined mainly in Finland and surrounding Baltic regions. It has a very defined pattern, where the crystals create large ‘flower’ like effects in the granite. Baltic Brown has a black base with a predominantly brown colour which varies from a light milky brown to a rusty red.
Compared to some other granites which are smooth with fine grained finishes, Baltic Brown displays a weathered appearance that distinguishes it from them.
Rapakivi granite, as it is also known, blends in well with any type of setting, both traditional and contemporary, making it an ideal candidate for use as a countertop in almost any setting.
