Calacatta IQ Quartz by Istones features a white background with grey calacatta veins. Quarried in Asia, this design resembles the famous calacatta marble. IQ composite quartz is a resin bound mixture of natural quartz mineral combined with glass or metallic flecks and pigments. This creates a hard, non-porous surface ideal for worktops. Advances in quartz composite manufacturing technology allows for the imitation of marble (with the added benefits of higher scratch and stain resistance compared to real marble).
