A question asked by many, can I put a hot pan on a granite worktop. Granite worktops are way more tolerable to heat as opposed to its  counterpart quartz. Granite is a natural stone and its melting point is extremely high therefore it shouldn’t cause your worktop any damage. However, its possible that it can be of risk to cracking so its not advisable to leave a hot pan on a granite worktop for a very long time.
Although the melting point of granite is extremely high, we don’t advise one to purposefully put a pan of hot boiling water on your granite worktop, however, if you accidentally put it there, you shouldn’t worry as the chance of it damaging is extremely low.
