Granite is a quality natural stone that maintains its properties for years ahead; therefore, it is slightly dearer in price than its competing worktops such as laminate. Laminate needs much more looking after, as its properties can deteriorate over time.
Therefore, it’s most certainly better to invest in granite as it will work out to be less expensive in the long run.
